There needs to be more ways to say that something is enjoyable but not Remarkably So

if I go watch a movie and I’m like “it wasn’t bad” or “it’s not great” that’s seen as putting it in a negative when what I really want is “this movie did not attach any strong likes or dislikes to me, but it was an enjoyable experience”

like how an “it’s okayyy” class at school is, but with a higher middle because it’s a movie not a class

proposal: it's okay with varying degrees of pitch

the shittier something is, the higher your it's okay go. something that didn't evoke any feelings of good or bad is the base value, so it's just a regular it's okay. you can further demonstrate your discontent by elongating the words, or using this method to substitute the pitch variance as a whole

thank you for coming to my ted talk
