Eacl is an Artificial Life Form, or an ALF, created by Hokku Kyouchikutou, a working-class 30 year old Japanese citizen, on a computer Hokku found lodged in a hand-like structure which fell from space, destroying what used to be the apartment their roommate and them used to live in when it crashed on Earth. Hokku created Eacl as a living comfort character to go into the video game world via said computer and give Hokku company as they repaired the video game world. The reference to the American show Alf was unintentional, but I decided to keep the acronym since it hints toward Hokku Kyouchikutou being a reverse otaku. What I mean by ‘reverse otaku’ is a citizen of Japan with a strong affinity for western animation and culture. There is no intent to over explain, hopefully this post does not come off as such.
