I saw some interesting writing about fetishism today but it was limited to the classic binary of those who have a fetish and those who don’t, which I don’t find very useful after a certain threshold and makes the flawed assumption that the root of the issue is one of consent when it’s really about the lack of a concentrated space for perverts to practice, and in doing so, decide, their customs, freely.
