another thing I collect is "bigfoot sightings that are definitely, unmistakably bears", which in this day and age mostly means trailcam photos.

bears can, and indeed do, stand bipedally and casually wander around on two legs but most of the widely-circulated "bigfoot" photos have them on all fours. and honestly I don't blame people for jumping to erroneous conclusions. if your mental image of "bear" is a mature, fat male grizzly in full coat in fall, you can stare right at a skinny bear or a nursing bear or a young bear or a bear that's a bit mangy and not know what the hell you're looking at. their proportions are very strange and ape-like, and a lot of semi-apocryphal stories exist about the police being called over headless, skinless bear carcasses in dumpsters by taxidermists' shops.

anyway. bigfoot is bears. stay tuned next week for "mothman is owls".

lol those sure are some kitty cats.

"pterodactyl sightings" are startlingly common in North and South America and depending on region, can be a lot of different things: often herons, pileated woodpeckers, frigatebirds, or cranes, but sometimes they are hoaxes, which is always fun
