anyway, if you have userstyles and want your own hats, check below the fold.
fyi: this still works, and also, if you wanted to, you could put things other than top hats on your posts. like lizards.
if you don't know how to add userstyles, you'll need to download the Stylus extension (NOT the similarly-named Stylish, which is a security and privacy nightmare)
Then you'll want to make a new userstyle, making sure that the URL is pointing at https://cohost.org, and paste in @aune's code. (optionally replace the hat with a lizard. or whatever emoji you want. go nuts)
Save, reload your page if necessary, and ~tada~. These will only be visible to you, not to anyone else, as it's only a change on your device, not the site itself. But lizards!
