why is everything its own page by default, no popup tabs? why does the left menu where all the options keep going? why do i have to click next page to keep scrolling? where are my numbers? this place just feels so cramped. i want to like it here and adapt. is there any way to help with this? settings im missing?

there's several limitations by the sites code, such as everything being its own page unfortunately. There are add ons which are very accessible that help with keeping things easier, and there's lots of html programming that I believe can be used.

separately there are no numbers by design, the goal is for things to be done via community interaction and building. not statistic hierarchy is the wording I believe. I do wish there was tools to see who's rebloged a post from the post itself and so on tbh.

I'm very tired but overall the important thing is having conversations

It can definitely be overwhelming, especially for sites that expect you to bring your own know-how, fortunately you can cut out the advanced stuff and get stuff set up with in-browser extensions that make it like, super easy to plug and play as it were.

I'm super rusty code wise, took me like, 5 minutes to set up my four scripts. All I had to do was press buttons. If you need a more in-depth walkthrough though so you don't get lost or anything feel free to hmu about it.

this was the feeling I ran into first joining too, it definitely feels less accessible if you're not techie. that said, the learning curve on user scripts isn't too bad, usually you just have to install an add-on and either click a link or copy paste some stuff
