I hate them and they seem to also hate me Explosher rotation had me going, one win off from hitting that Egg rank, had like one or two disconnects up to this point Luck shifted Glowflies, disconnects, glowflies, I think like 70% of the matches had glowflies in them, sometimes we got through, sometimes we didn't, I had three in a row where the first wave were glowflies and the one that we were able to clear the person who got explosher disconnected right after and we were overwhelmed by flyfish
Now onto the positive stuff, I've been trying out new weapons every now and again, so, how that went:
This session I was playing with friends, turf wars, I was trying to unlock the amiibo gear You need 20 wins after registering them to unlock the whole set.
I did a few matches with the explosher and the ballpoint I think? But then I realized, I shouldn't be doing that, I feel comfortable with that it's Turf Wars, there's nothing really on the line, I don't necessarily need to pick something I'm comfortable with, it's The Time to experiment, yeah?
Then what weapon should I use, I don't really want to pick something close range, something that kills when I'm right there with them, I already use the blaster and the splash a lot, and like... I prefer playing more supportively, and since the "tank" that I usually would play instead(the brella class) isn't currently available, I would prefer to pick something longer range like the explosher, the squelcher is off the table and I already tried out a splatling so I should go for a different class, it was the time to play the charger.
So instead of doing it seriously and picking an actual charger, I picked the goo tuber and said "You know how you play this weapon? You play it like a squeezer" and proceeded to never charge, at all, all my shots were tap shots, because it was funny, and I think this terrified people because it worked way more often that I thought it would, the missiles of course annoyed everyone and the torpedo is as good as it ever was, I still think that the undercover having the inkmine instead of it on the basic set for this game is a sin
At around the end of the session, I think I already had hit the numbers I needed and all, I decided to try to actually pick a charger, I picked the e-liter because it felt safer to just be at the farthest possible distance even if I was bad I could, I dunno, at least try to get another shot in before it could be considered over yeah?
I hit the cover in front of me like 60% of the shots I took, I don't know how I managed that, but I'm impressed, it was very funny
