I played this in one(maybe multiple? I don't remember) of the steam demo fests and it came out in early access today(20/12/2022) so I'm gonna see what about it interested me again cuz to be honest I don't really remember why I was so interested in it, I remember it had a text parser somewhere, the combat was dice roll based and you had character sheets? There's something about dealing with things in different ways, one of the bosses was very unbalanced against non-combat builds though

It also had a lotta troubles with the localization, things didn't really read well and a lotta typos and stuff, I dunno how that's going right now(Edit: still not really all that good, one of the first mandatory screens has typos)

All of that though it was really interesting and I'm interested to see where it went and where it's going to go

Under the read more there are a few thoughts about it I had during play

The combat system has changed since the demo, the character the first story puts you in also lacks a bit in combative stats so that's been a bit difficult to get used to

prompt asking if you want to set the carpet on fire

You get to use this to skip a fight

If you've played World of Horror, that's kind of how stories work in this, there are multiple ways to finish things, secrets you can find that will give you items that can be useful and all that, your character persists between stories

There are still quite a few untranslated things around early on, some in the menus, kinda disappointing
