On top of the graphical/performance issues Symphonia has had since the PS2 port and with the new bugs introduced with the remaster... it makes me wonder how short the dev time they had for this port. You'd think Bamco would give this remaster more time to iron out its kinks, since this is the entry that gave the series more notoriety world wide, but I'm not surprised honestly. They've tried 3 times before this new port: PS2, PS3, then PC and it just keeps gettin' worse.
Video of a bug where if you have character with angel wings in battle (Colette for example) it introduces frame drops. It's little hard to notice since the max frame rate caps at 30, but damn... not able to maintain a stable frame rate does sucks.
Video of odd graphical error on the Xbox Series X (I think). The reply in the thread of an image of Colette n' Mithos in a disco club got a good chuckle outta me.
Load times exiting battles compared between consoles. Loud Volume Warning.

The Switch port being longest to load the over world. Even longer than the PS2 port LOL
If you'd like more examples, you can watch this pretty good video highlighting a lot of issues the remaster has:
It's like the inverse situation of Phantasia. Besides the iOS/GBA port, Phantasia got substantial updates with each new release on consoles. SNES, PS1, and PSP have good versions of Phantasia and you can't go wrong playing any one of 'em. Meanwhile, if you want to play Symphonia without much issues, the GameCube original is your only option.
