Whose comms are open atm!
The left drawing is of my OCs, who don't have names yet, but I call 'em Mama Jaguar and Papa Chihuahua (or Mama and Papa for short) for now. Drawn by Kyo who goes by "Kyotemeru" on Twitter.
They're characters for a big personal project I'm still mostly brain storming. A lot of influences for this project stem from Dragon Ball, the Tales Of series, and Guilty Gear to name a few. Also, influences from real life (Mesoamerica iconography mostly). Still thinkin' about what I want this project be. Maybe a video game? A 2D action game that borrows a lot from what I like about fighting games. I dunno honestly. Probably once I put more thought into what story I wanna tell with this I'll get a concrete idea of that this project will be.
At the moment, I only have this drawing I did of the both of them with their two kids, Mira (the oldest) n' Valerio (the youngest). I can't find the original drawing I did of Mama where I was figuring out her design n' stuff. I'll update this post of I do.

I'm not really well versed in mecha genre to really say what the influences are for these characters. Most of my exposure is through osmosis of a few friends who are more knowledgeable in the genre than I am. Though, I have watched a few OVAs and shows with 'em. The Legend of the Blue Wolves, Getter Robo (the old Toei shows from the 70s), and Patlabor (there's a set of OVAs I watched of this but I can't recall the name of it) are the only frame of references I have for mecha atm. I did like watchin' all of that with my friends enough to want to make a mecha comic featurin' my queer OC couple. At some point....
Anyway, I got plenty art of these gaymos I've drawn myself. They get drawn a lot since I definitely feel comfortable where I am with their designs now. Again, wish I could find the old drawings I did, but I can't. Think I might've lost 'em... oh well.
