incredibly tired of getting lumped in with 'gen z' in the sense of "gen z don't know how to use printers or mail letters lmao" and "gen z don't know what a floppy disk is"
oh no I was born in '98, sue me, I'm still older than both Google and the ISS

I am onfy three years older than u buf my childhood was weird in thaf my first PC was an APPLE II variant wiff a tapes add-on, I used to write Super Mario RPG fanfiction on library compoofers which I saved on floppy disks, and I was still playing on teh SNES when teh PS2 was ouf (I did get one a couple years later)
my dad got us our first PC in 2003 I think (some no-name prebuild that always gave him trouble) and I remember playing the original Sims on it, even watching the Sims 2 trailer that came on one of the disks in awe. I don't think we ever used floppies in our house, but I'd seen them around at school, even a few 8-inch ones!
never really touched consoles myself, but it was the golden age of the internet, so I fed my inner ADHD gremlin with tons of useless info to pass the time
that PC died on Christmas Day 2007 when the hard drive unceremoniously did its best paper shredder impression, haha
this wash my first one, a TK-2000, hehe, brazillian original, sort of (based off APPLE II, like I said)

Then I had a Windows XP PC in teh 2000s, which lasted fur a while until I lended itf to my cousin who blew it up becaufe they didn't use teh thingy thaf manages volts, hehe. I might still hav its carcass somewher. nowadays I mosfly use laptops
I had a couple consoles in my childhood andf teenhood, but then I didn't get any after PS2 until I gof a switch last year, meowf
