If Cohost goes away I'm not sure what I will do, but the most likely outcome is that I'll just disappear from social media entirely. I have no real interest in going back to Twitter (or one of the various diet Twitter options).
Same. I float a thought or joke on bsky once in a while, but it just feels off. Turns out I don't particularly love Posting; what I do enjoy is being creative with and for a small audience. I will have to keep my accounts around for unavoidable future self-promotion Events but what else, I really don't know.
On Bluesky I can (and do) crack wise and comment on things, but Cohost feels like everyone involved is creating things, whether it’s art, professional work, or Actual Quality Posts.
If they’re not posting their stuff here there’s usually a vibe that they’re doing it elsewhere and hang around to offer sincere insights and enjoy everyone else’s work.
Cohost isn’t just a cool place to hang out, it’s an inspiring place to hang out. Everyone’s amazing.
where shitposts are for fun, not engagement
