It feels good and fulfilling to just be pleasant to people as a default state of being unless they give you reason not to, and it’s good and fun and makes my heart happy, and I recommend trying it

being nice to people unless prompted to be otherwise is so so much easier on the mind and makes socializing very fun
No bitching, no being a sour human, no being suspicious of others, just gud vibes. And it doesn't even mean you have to be a pushover either ! Just that your neutral state isn't "unpleasant person"

Exactly! It’s not being a pushover or a people pleaser, but defaulting to “pleasant unless someone gives a good reason not to be” is just… better for the soul, I find. Been a lot less stress in my life since I started making the effort to be that way
