There are a few things of particular interest to me in the new patch:
- More Hildibrand! The Endwalker Hildibrand quests are my favorite so far, and I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of silly ridiculousness happens.
- The next stage of Manderville weapons! While I’ve been corrected that they’ll probably be ilvl 645, so I won’t be replacing Wrathgrinder, it’ll still be great to continue with these. I’m going to grind a few more causality tomestones this evening in case the next step is just “spend 1500 tomestones on materials then hand them to the smith” like previous ones. Will probably go for the Sage weapon first.
- And the next stage of Splendorous Tools! All right, this is more a matter of “okay, I guess I’ll do it” than enthusiasm, but I got the fancy crystalline hatchet and pick for their unique collectable-gathering bonuses, and I’ll probably continue upgrading them. It’ll be grindy, but I can do it with half a brain while I watch something. And I did just finish grinding FATEs for the nonce when I finished leveling Dragoon, so I have some room for different grinding.
