… at least as far possible in 6.4, I’m guessing 6.5 will bring two more steps.
All told, the process of getting the relic tools was a pretty boring grind for an unimpressive reward. I skipped the relic crafting tools entirely because their unique special ability (better quality improvement on good material quality) doesn’t really mesh well with mass-production-via-macro crafting style. But the special on the gathering tools (improved chance of Collector’s Intuition) really does help with collectable gathering, so it was worth getting them to the second stage for that. The third and fourth stages don’t add anything except incremental improvements to stats, so they probably weren’t worth the 3-5 hours I put into each tool. The best I can say is that the quests were cute and now a couple of my tools look like aetherytes.
