What is your Warrior of Light's relationship with violence? How eagerly do they employ it?

Grace was taught throughout her childhood to revere the balance of nature. This meant that from before the start of her adventures she abhorred needless killing or violence, but was willing to kill without hesitation when she thought it was needful — hunting for food, defense, etc. This attitude has mostly stayed with her, but since becoming a Warrior she’s discovered that she really, really enjoys melee combat. This sits a little oddly with her attitudes about killing, but she reconciles it by finding sparring partners on a regular basis. Since she’s lived in Ishgard since the end of the Dragonsong War, that means she and Aymeric’s knights have dealt each other a fair few bruises on the training grounds!
[This is a point of divergence between character and player. Grace Horizon would love the idea of PvP, but I’m not into it myself.]
