Well, I’ve completed the 6.55 MSQ, I’ve done the last Endwalker Hildibrand, Tataru’s grand adventure has come to a close, and I’ve got my first couple Manderville weapons to their final stage. Plus I’ve finished leveling all jobs to 90. What now?
At this point I’ve done nearly everything I want to do in the game, and I’ve been feeling an urge to do something else with my time. So I’m going to wind down into maintenance mode — run my weekly Thaleia, keep augmenting my Reaper and Sage gear (Warrior is long since done), probably keep maxing out my weekly comedy tomestones and buying my Credendum healing gear. I’ll use the causality tomestones I earn as a side effect to gradually get all my final stage Manderville weapons. But that’s just a few hours a week, really, so it’ll be a big reduction in play time.
And honestly that’s what I want at this stage. I’ve put over 3000 hours into this game over the past year and a half, I’m getting tired of it, and it’s time for a break. So, I’ll still be around a bit, but a lot less than before. I’ll be doing other stuff for a while, and I might see you this summer in Dawntrail!
