Took five days away from FFXIV, and I’m finding myself slightly rusty. Did fine on Warrior and Sage, definitely fumbled my resource management and upkeep a bit on Reaper. I’m not really surprised, though. The mechanics of DPS jobs are pretty complex, and it’s never been my primary role.
And in the end, I’m okay with that. For me, at least, staying in top form needs more play time than I want to put in any more. So Reaper, and DPS in general as a role, are going to be second-tier things that I mess around with in a non-serious fashion, rather than things I do when I’m playing at all seriously. I’ll stick to tanking in particular when I mean business.
