After my trip through Ancient Roman: Power of the Dark Side I been icthing though another JRPG that's been on my radar for a while but got zero idea what it is, or something fucking werid.
One that grabbed my attention was El Dorado Gate, which is a Dreamcast RPG that has the art of Amano's art on it as well as being a mutidisk series. Problem is only in Japanese, which bummer. There are some information I can dig up on the English speaking side of the internet enough to get some vauge idea about it.
However, digging through my GoG account I tripped and landed ass frist in to this game in my libray!
Oringally this was made by Rabid Entertainment/ICOM Simulations which was folks behind Uninvited, Shadowgate, and squints eyes the FMV game Dracula Unleashed. They however closed while they where making this game, and was handed over to a studio called Valkyrie Studios. This game must be cursed because after finishing this game they closed too.
The publisher is more well known to the rest of the gaming world, Monolith Productions AKA the dudes who made FEAR and Shadow of Mordor.
It's an hontest to god JRPG for Windows made by the west! Neat! I'll be poking at this game sometime in the future.
