So I’m at the market getting my essentials - bat guano, goose down, handfuls of fine crystal, etc. - and I see that they have a new self-scrying service. You put your Crystal Orb’s aura into one of the constructs at the front entrance and then it will tally your purchases as you go rather than needing to take time at the register. Brilliant! But then when I come to the self-scrying pool, it flashes red and a booming voice says that “a seer’s assistance is required to complete your transaction.” A tired looking diviner comes over and waves their staff over the pool, then over my cart. He clearly is overworked, as not a moment later three other self-scrying pools go through the same process. Ridiculous! Hire more diviners if you’re going to need to monitor the self-scrying pools anyway!
