Seems like whenever I check this site there's someone talking about the toxicity of their experience with it and I just haven't had that, like in the slightest. Not even during the periods where I've been much more active in posting, so I genuinely don't know from where or who the toxicity comes from. This site has been just been much more kind or benign than any other social media platform I've used, so maybe it just means I'm actually doing something right? Or wrong, depending on what metric you gauge your social media interactions on. The only problem I have with cohost is the exact same that I have with every other platform, in that whenever I try to reach out to get recommendations for something I want, I get absolutely no replies, but that's probably just because I'm not really a well known personality online or anything, haven't really been able to develop a following or fanbase, and mainly am just not good at social interaction.
Other than that, I don't really know how other people do cohost, but like... it really doesn't need to fill in any void from other social media sites. Sometimes it's just good to stop using a site and not replace it with another site, because if you get stressed from something, maybe it's good to not bring or expect that energy from something else?
I certainly don't want cohost to be my alternative to twitter, that would be like quitting smoking but replacing it with drinking.
Anyway, this is just another one of those rambling nothing posts that I spent way too time composing that will probably be ignored because who cares? It's just an opinion about something from some rando on the internet, I can think of no better example of something that can safely be ignored with no negative consequences in doing so.
