i would never presume what is or isn't easy to implement but i feel like there's no excuse for a game releasing on PC to not either A) automatically detect what controller you're playing on or B) give you some kind of toggle for button prompt glyphs

Some devs have actualy made plugins to auto enable it for free for games in certain engines with visuals they made themselves
