I read all of Tokyo Tarareba Girls on a whim and it really got to me!! What if! What if! What if happiness can be found complaining and gossiping and yelling with your girl friends over too many drinks! What if there's no point in regrets, or in settling for what you think is supposed to make you happy, as long as you are living fully and grateful for what you have! What if, at least I have almost 5 years left until I'm 33 so I really can't get to stressed out yet about the themes in this comic!! I'm too young to go out drinking with Akiko Higashimura and share my woes!!
This comic made me cry over straight people, including a truly heinous man. But you know what, I'm rooting for them!!!
It did REALLY make me want to go out for drinks and snacks with my friends more often. We gotta drink and yell about our problems!!
