like immediate intro spoilers, not real spoilers in any meaningful way
I thought I was gonna be clever where some devils were fighting the mindflayer on the ship in the intro and the mindflayer thought we were thralls and told us to take the helm and the party was like 'who cares just do it so we don't die' but i was like 'no i will subvert this and help the devils by killing the mindflayer first and then take the helm - which the game let me do - except as soon as the mindflayer died all the enemies and devils turned on my despite me helping them.
also apparently you get like nothing for killing the mindflayer, but if you kill the big devil general in the intro you get a sick burning greatsword so because i didn't kill him i don't get the cool sword.
i expected the game to be like 'oho, you risked your own neck to kill the mindflayer and help the general, he will respond kindly' but no he's just a mindless aggro enemy. =c
