plurality is neurodivergence too, and in order to shift paradigms away from pathology we have to let go of calling it "disordered". there are no "disordered" brain states, only diversity in experience that may or may not cause distress depending on circumstance. autism isn't a "disorder", plurality isn't a "disorder", even psychosis isn't a "disorder", they're variance in experience, and as one who experiences all three, you don't need to shove them off to one side as Disordered Abnormal to work within the hurt they might cause.
in order to achieve neuroqueer liberation, we must throw away the language of pathology, throw away the language of "disorders", and forge ourselves a new paradigm free of those oppressive frames.
