in my experience most gender role stereotypes are vastly overstated even among completely normie white-picket-fence cishet people, it's not actually some exotic thing for men to take care of their kids or women to do home improvement projects
but I gotta tell ya
in my entire healthcare career I have never asked a woman what medications she takes and gotten a response of "you'll have to ask the boss" while her husband pulls out a neatly typed list
