One thing I'm really liking about Cohost is that it's long-form text. Admittedly, I don't get nearly as far into my "timeline," but I find myself more invested in the stories, thoughts, and media being shared more in depth.

Making me realize, I haven't had a decent platform for really sharing my thoughts openly.

I think my goal for Cohost is to try to move more towards sharing more thoughts at first, then try to condense and retain impact.

I often have a lot of thoughts, but I've realized I keep them close as I often like listening to other peeps, but also allow myself to get talked over easily. So let's see if this opens up a venue for me!

Cohost reminds me so much of early 2000s LiveJournal, probably my favorite social media space! I don't feel pressured to post just for the sake of posting. (not like that's gonna stop me from doing top tier shitposts though)

Welcome Gamer

I had a similar thing going on but about a year ago I decided to make a wordpress to deal with it. I haven't had time to sit down and write something that big in a while though, so this site is great for me.

Right? It feel like this is more.... quick-to-market to get longer form thoughts out there without forcing folks to click multiple times or "commit" to another site. Albeit this is already another site.
