included in the brief are a few screenshots of nintendo adults whining about spoilers, perhaps proof that being a baby online can fuel legal action
Fuck you, you're more than rich enough, stop crying, its literally free marketing.
I knew a guy when i was attending ITT tech who did a paper on the effects of piracy, and it turned out it was beneficial to the company since the majority of pirates will, for one reason or another, buy a game they pirate, or if theyvwont its due to not thinking the game is worth the expenditure in the first place, resulting in lots if free publicity, and nearly no lost sales.
So the piracy thing is a hoax, piracy good, piracy only good
Funny thing, after the case of Sony vs Connetix, emulators are considered fair competition under the law.
(Granted jurisprudence doesn't seem to matter anymore if it gets in the way of power and profit, but since they pretend it still does we will too).
This is just more using weird abuser logic to find more loopholes to get more power and control.
This current part of late stage of capitalism is one we call "alienation of property" where the idea of property ownership is being slowly eroded and being made a function of class and capital, rather then freely accessible.
This is just one act in a long, fucked up play to establish capitalist neofeudalism and slowly frame even the premise of democracy as "socialist."
