CW tags and spoiler tags actually have a lot of overlap in design purpose and design needs, so much so that either can substitute for the other, and i find that really fascinating
i use CWs on this site to mark my spoiler content for Scarlet/Violet, and i use spoiler tags on discord more for marking content warnings than for actual spoilers. it's very interesting how much design two different things have in common.
