last night I had a lovely little drifting-off-to-sleep daydream shift experience where there was a nice human who brought me snacks and patted my snout... felt amazing tbh
I will never be tamed or domesticated but i can totally bond with worthy humans. there's absolutely a difference. I swear
if this creature showed up in my lair I would place them in my hoard
but really there is a huge difference between domestication and just liking a couple humans. Domestication is to have your entire genome and being wrapped around humans, to need human approval and affection on a physiological level. whereas wild animals don’t need humans at all. they can enjoy the company of some humans, but might bite others. depends on the human. they are fundamentally non-dependent
