EDIT 1: NAME CHANGE FUNDED, I'll be getting it as soon as the money transfers! Future updates will be discrete images, but it was important here to put up that progress is no longer zero. Original text follows:

Apropos of "I'm broke" here's a public accountability system for my savings goals, featuring a list of stuff I'm gonna be working toward getting (using percentages of funds from commissions, Pixel Yinglet sales, and whatever else I make) in the near future! These plans are all in the name of improving my personal standard of living, as well as making it easier to fulfill my needs as a digital artist. Couple a' details:

First, I won't turn donations away, but I'm under no illusions that these override other people's basic needs. It's 2024, other people are facing much harsher circumstances than myself, I'm a self-employed yinglet, and I want to prove to myself I can achieve these goals!

Second, I'll be adding to this proportionally from art income by percentage -unless- I receive direct contributions toward one goal or another.

Third, I'll be providing updates as I go! Monthly-ish? Sounds about right??

GOAL 1: Yeh, I'm changing my legal name. I need to, I'm Avi after all!

GOAL 2: Improving my local mobility! Currently I walk, take public transit, and ride on the back of my beautiful wolf GF @phenokage, but none of it compares to the convenience of a vehicle that can take you places. This goal includes an e-bike (a basic but well-reviewed one), a good lock, and a helmet.

GOALS 3 & 4: I currently only have a desktop PC for full-featured/professional art, and it's probably not good for me to have my creativity rooted in one specific physical space all the time! I want to be able to create art from other places in my living space as well as at conventions. For this I'll be getting last-gen versions of the 15" Lenovo ThinkPad P-series and a Samsung tablet (I'm already used to the S Pen and Android art ecosystem from my sadly decommissioned Galaxy Note 8).

The $2500 goal is a nice round number, and when I hit it I'll draw a new bar for some manner of Round 2. This train keeps going till I hit baseline at least
