The species that I am! Otter-heron-sergal-fennec-thing. We're from a (technically SFW but very raunchy so I'd call it 18+) transformation webcomic called Out Of Placers. It's actually more of a post-transformation webcomic, since there's only one transformation but the comic focuses so much on adjusting to life in a new body, and what that does to your sense of identity.

Yinglets are mostly portrayed as kobold-like high-energy gremlin types, with (many) exceptions. In-comic yinglets form big communal living spaces / villages called "enclaves" and all sleep in big piles like cats. Your average yinglet is between 2' to 3'6" ish, so we're pretty short (again, kobold energy).

Yinglets are known for loving the taste of clams and other bivalves to the point of basically getting high off them. This is the primary diet of their evolutionary ancestors, since we're basically shorebirds-but-mammal.

Za "zh" accent you see around isn't an accent, it's a speech impediment: Because zey have a big toozh in za front, but also not many teezh elsewhere, za "th" sound like in "the" gets turned into a "zh" sound. I do not always do zis because of course my keyboard does not have a shelltoozh.

Yinglets have 4 hands, because yinglet "feet" are hands.

Despite looking mammal-y, yinglets lay eggs.

Yinglets are also ridiculously poison-immune to the point that they habitually eat things that would kill any other species.

lastly, yinglets are SHAPED. look at zat. so species. I wanna be it yes
(zis art in zis post is by me. Maybe I'm slightly off-model. go read Out Of Placers instead)
