I always thought of "Gyro" as a gamertag and not a name. Sort-of a brand. Not "me" so much as, like, my trademark or something (I hate that all of the words for this are capitalism).

Now exploring plurality, it is easy to tell what to do.

System name, yeah!! Gyro System. yeah. < ^ v^>

Having the joyful and exciting, but also scary at the same time, experience of "oh fuck I really am like PLURAL plural huh?"

Like... It's so cool! but also on some level it really existentials my dread. not because of the stupid hollywood "o no evil headmate" thing but because of the "this means I'm also just another alter and my existence is not what I thought it was. my existence is not as concrete as I thought it was, either, and if I forget who I am I'll simply cease to exist." reasons.

but don't get me wrong, it also is really exciting and fun in some very cool ways. Ceto probably wants a Cohost page so I'll probably make that at some point or let her do it. She's cute and good and I like her a lot.

It is good to have friends in your head. Maybe I'm not that scared actually. ❤️

What is the most comfortable way to get PluralKit-like functionality on Cohost? It seems like the best way to do this would be to open another "page" per headmate, correct? Does that seem reasonable?

I'm still very much at a point where the thought "oh I'm not a system this is just some kind of pretending, perhaps to fit in with my plural friends" still has some potency, even though there was never a conscious choice to "pretend", but also if we try to "just stop pretending" it doesn't go away?? and so

Based on observations of plural friends, I figured The Plural Experience would include more "randomly switching in out of nowhere and being confused," and I'm fronting so often that like for us 95% of the time I'm fronting.

Ceto just pointed out that a singlet who is pretending to be plural would not have the necessity of freaking out upon starting to unfront and frantically grabbing front and going "nope, nope, nope, I'm me," out of existential fear.

That is apparently more of a "plural trying to pretend to be a singlet" sort of a thing, pretty much the opposite.
