I could make a more well-fleshed-out personal website but I want to be social with other people, in-conversation. I don't want to just make some self-promotional autobiographical hole to scream into. I mean, it makes me reachable, I suppose, but it really feels like that sort of thing doesn't fill the niche Cohost fills.

I should make a personal website though. however, executive dysfunction

so here it is, an enormous canvas wizh basically everyzhing [sfw] i drew over a two year period. some higher and some lower effort zhings, and several series occupying a bunch of room. it doesnt have a fair bit of stuff from zhe past few monzhs, because it was already mostly full and couldnt fit anyzhing i drew in.

and it got finished last night. if zhere are any questions about any of it, feel free to ask, but zheres a LOT zhere. Some of it is even ozher people zhat you might recognize!

Had a weird dream last night that these things were real. They were sold as pets and were like a genetically modified creature or something - by the end of the dream people were getting bit by them and changing into them. But the funny part was this like 50 year old jaded businessman got bit by one on purpose and when I asked him why he did this he just smiled and said "no more email".
They were called Nuppies. Something about them is that if you give them a plushie they get "plush drunk". This was explained to me in the dream completely straight faced by an underpaid pet shop employee and I don't know exactly what he meant by this. They came in all sorts of colors but the red and black ones were sold out.
Anyways who wants to get plush drunk with me?

It figures that Cohost would have a world-heritage post like this a week before the shutdown announcement

cohost was a success. i don't give a shit about the off-site numbskulls trying to stunt on its grave because the culture of cohost rejected their antisocial bullshit wholecloth. we didn't just exist together, we thrived together. so many users i've seen offering posts about how much this site means to them, so many saying this site was therapeutic, so many users saying they'd rather not re-immerse themselves in the wider internet and would rather just get outside more or pick their hobbies up more.

people are so fed up with the rest of the internet that without cohost, they'd rather go outside.

that, in my opinion, is a resounding fucking success.
