In the turn of the 20th century you could just have the kind of swag that radiates art deco Lovecraftian femme fatale vibes. we've gotta go back folks. I need to give off a portentious sort of "what secrets does she know" kind of vibe. A "chance meeting on the midnight train from New York to Chicago who spoke of awe-inspiring and frightful things" vibe. If I can't have a brooch shaped like a spider that hides a tiny piece of paper with a secret message on it enciphering a man's dying words giving directions to the last known location of The Necronomicon what even is fashion anyway?
