basically this is, like, the most emotionally stressful time of year for me that always reminds me that A.) I am on the wrong side of the planet to the majority of my family and B.) my mum was killed untimely by a heart attack brought on by debt collectors who were operating on false information that was several years out of date after she had spent a year in a coma, most of a year in hospital with a tracheal tube, and was just learning again to fucking walk and moving into assisted living when some knuckle-dragging bitch picked up her file and harassed her almost daily over a payment issue that wasn't mum's to deal with or, it emerged later, even an issue in the first place as her living costs were being covered by the hospital trusts in the area,

but yeah it's fuckn christmas so i just go
