💛 just got this from an account that hadn't messaged us ever, checked their socials, they were hacked 3 days ago. these scams appear to be getting smarter and its wild that after years of this it's still such a widespread issue. be careful, y'all.

for anyone wondering what the grift is here, the supposed email says you're supposed to make a friend request to someone, and from there the rest of the scam happens. it's a big scary-looking form letter that's nearly impossible to read otherwise
