@lupi

so, i was thinking about it again today

now that i have a tax return that proves I only made 8000 dollars last year and have proof of VERY LOW INCOME,
now that i have papers

what doors are open to me here in the state of florida?

SNAP/EBT? what programs can I seek out for assistance now that i have some amount of a paper trail?

i've already halved my internet bill through the affordable connectivity act.

Food stamps and other state assistance are available through ACCESS Florida. Applying for food stamps has "apply for Medicaid" as a corequisite; since you only make $8k a year, you should be good?

If you're disabled and have medical records to back it up, I suggest applying for SSI. You'll want to retain a lawyer; I used Morgan & Morgan.

Noted. I don't have my records on my person, I do have my autism diagnosis on file but it's back in south carolina in my mom's filing cabinet, and family forgot to bring it down. I'll have them fax a copy of it if they can when they get back. It's already waited this long, I can survive a little longer.

I was on SSI until the year-18 reevaluation, when they had me do puzzle blocks and said i'm "not autistic enough anymore."

Morgan and Morgan conveniently has a new office in downtown Titusville, which is easy for me to get to, so I'll keep that in mind.
