I tell most beginners to start here!
This is a collection of tutorials from Marc Brunet who is one of the better teachers for Beginner to Intimidate skill levels
I also recommend:
- Proko (Beginner - Advanced)
- Has very dry content but covers nitty gritty details well, especially anatomy
- Mikey Mega Mega (Beginner - Intermediate)
- Very straight forward and to the point comic illustration guides for basically anything you can think of
- One of the better resources for learning pin-ups
- Modern Day James (Intermediate - Advanced)
- Basically one of the best resources on perspective and draftsmanship you can access for free
- Marco Bucci (Intermediate)
- A very fun teacher with a focus on painting and fundamentals
- His work can be good for beginners but I think is best for intermediate artists brushing up their basics
- Pixel Overload
- As you mentioned an interest in pixel art, I genuinely think that PO is one of the better channels for that content
- Brandon James Greer
- I'd also be amiss if I didn't mention my favourite pixel artist BJG, who whilst they don't do tutorials. They do make very engaging videos about pixel art where they talk through their process!
and that's about it for YouTube recommendations. There are a lot of other very good YouTubers out there, but they are either very niche in their focus, take too long to get to the point of their videos or are focused on high level artistic thinking.
It's finally worth bringing up Onta's excellent comic tutorials for drawing various porn related things!
