"Only" about halfway through the Battle Pass for this season, thanks to the removed restrictions on suits for the challenges.

Honestly, it's very nice to be able to play whatever suit I want for things. Which mostly means Hyperion, Unicorn, Dynames, and - of course - the titular Aggro Crag: the Guntank. Want to join in? Lobby is open for Sneks, and may also be joined by members of the Victory Pit crew.

Gonna shoot some mechs.
There isn't much else to it.

And... it certainly was a stream. We were pitted with and against a couple Newtype level players and against one Master level. Which means they are very very good. I am not nearly at their level, but I did do the best I could given the circumstances. And we did ultimately end on a win for our last match, so that's something!

Also, we did have a bit of a Twitch disconnect partway through and some audio desync. I'm trying to figure out what is going on with that, and turned down my G-EVO settings a bit to try and fix that. If anyone has any other ideas what might be causing it, do let me know.

Anyways, after we finished our matches, we raided on over to Miss Shadow Lovely as she plays some DBD.

Update on the lag!

It looks like it was being caused by Killer Intelligence Center. Did a quick test stream with it disabled - along with G-Evo back on the settings I had it running on prior to this stream - and not only was it running without the audio desync, but it also was using up less CPU than before.

So Killer was not only screwing with my stream, but it was trying to... overclock G-Evo and make it use more CPU than it needed? Will have to keep a watch on the CPU usage still (and maybe reduce the graphical settings a bit again if it trends high), but the desync issue should be resolved now.

Apologies to everyone who came to the stream and were forced to watch me blissfully unaware that the sounds in the game were several seconds off from what was actually happening. Should hopefully not happen again, and also serve as a heads-up to anyone also encountering similar issues and happen to be running Killer.

Been waffling for a while if I want to delve into doing a Four Job Fiesta (FJF) of Final Fantasy 5 on stream during the season.

Decided to finally bite the bullet and just do it since I have until the end of August to complete at least one (1) run. Which I feel like I can manage, at least? Going to start off with a Regular Run just to start simple and see how I do. Especially since it's been a little bit since I've run FF5 straight. Might move on to more complex ones as time goes on, but should probably walk before I run and all that.

... Even if I have ideas to allow chat to donate for rerolls on the jobs and such. Or to add Berserkers. But that's future talk. Now is the start of our first run. Let's see how it goes, shall we?

We made a HECK of a lot of progress! Three crystals down and a bit of a side-trek before we go tackling Ronka for that fourth one! Gilgabot has given us quite some tasty tools to do it, too, in BLM, MYS, and NIN. No Chicken Knife enjoyer yet but there's still one slot left to fill...

Afterward, we raided over to Tina as she goes through what she's been calling an exceptionally cursed speedrun through Final Fantasy 6!
