Having recently completed my reread of Book of the New Sun, this made me think about how a dimmer sun wouldn't make it necessarily that noticeably darker than an overcast day. Thinking larger, I understand how this could affect things like agriculture and general flora & fauna levels, but on a purely visceral level stepping outside, it doesn't feel all that weird.
If you have a bathtub, I recommend filling it with the coldest water you can stand, and sitting in it for a bit. If cold enough, even just 10 minutes with only below the waste submerged in there is keeping my legs cool for like almost two hours as my circulation tries to warm them back up
