yeah, i've seen people be like "it's great how cohost forces people to comment instead of just liking your reply" but like i don't want to force people to comment (and i also don't agree with the idea that a like is meaningless). a lot of times there just isn't anything to say other than thumbs up, we need internet body language not just words. discord react emojis is a great example.
