sadly that needs animations (we dont have style elements, so no way to define keyframes) or transitions (triggered via pseudoclasses which we dont have) so I dont see it working? given, we could just put html-in-css and then suddenly we have and can define @keyframes and its all very nice and possible, but yeah, I dont see it working outside of svgs with interactivity and stuff
Dang! Thanks for letting me know, is there a way to cleanly add as many gifs on top of each other? I can still fake it with layers of gifs
I'm kinda poking at the whole "make multiple divs line up cleanly" for the last few days :D - but yeah, assuming your know your css you should be able to just stack gifs or apngs and be good.
Heck yes I'm gonna figure this out and abuse the living heck out of it
