Ok, the game is done! It's an asymmetric 2-player abstract boardgame, inspired heavily by Terry Pratchett's Thud, which in turn was allegedly inspired by Hnetatafl and other Tafl games. Play as Gnomes or Giants and see which side is stronger!

I designed this one in 2020 and made the pieces & board back then from 2 chess sets. The game spent a couple years not being worked on because I was agonizing about the design. I recently got back to it and removed some elements to simplify the gameplay, as well as moving to a smaller 11x11 board from the original 13x13 one (which is a bummer for this hand-painted board I made for the larger version!!) I'll put the rules up on Itch.io once I've playtested once or twice more to be sure I'm happy with how the game feels.
