there had previously been a small part of me hoping they'd do a World of Darkness game since paradox and that definitely isnt happening with those layoffs
if the comment posted by a former dev is to be believed, paradox had no interest in continuing shadowrun or battletech, as they could not wholly own those properties or franchises.
i had just re-installed shadowrun hong kong to play through it again and wondered what harebrained have been up to since battletech came out. saddens me that their first project since then performed so poorly... :(
