i need to find more music with the vocalists chanting in harmony at the top of their lungs over a bed of the crunchiest guitars. @cupsofjade introduced me to this italian outfit and i need MORE.
if anyone has any recommendations for music that sounds like the soundtrack to a ritual where someone takes psychedelics and has their soul torn from their body and launched upward by a cabal of desert nomads, i would love to hear them
It's hard to get more droning desert ritual than classic OM
My personal favorite desert/space rock album of all time is SubArachnoid Space's improvisational live masterpiece "These Things Take Time" but that one is purely instrumental so you would have to do your own chants
seeing Om (and Watter opening for them) on my birthday in 2013 was a turning point for my music taste, I think. There was so much weed smoke in the air they didn't need a fog machine
