i'm just amazed they took one of the best lyrics of all time and somehow made it better. thanks to Genius dot com, this lyric lives a rich and vibrant life in my mind's eye

I mean, this is my favorite lyric of this song, and pretty much my exact interpretation of it haha, there's just lasers in the jungle somewhere! it's outta control!

edit: actually I figured this was in reference to some piece of news from the period but it doesn't seem to be easily available on the internet if so. Maybe it's a "you had to be there" thing, where "there" is 1987.
