As a fellow mega sweet tooth (lol lmao I'm seeing this on a recipe for some toffee cookies), I'm taken aback that there's a base expectation of "sweet" let alone any desire for making it sweeter.

(Actual Factuals tho)

lol yeah that's what i grew up learning from my parents too, tbh in a lot of stuff that's just what i use for salt, not just eggs. in eggs it's just what i think scrambled eggs taste like already

I mean you can 'chup up the eggs but I've only ever heard of 'chupping your eggs when it's an omelette over rice.

if it's scrambled with hella fixin's, like potatoes and meats, I can see a 'chup topping working, but straight scrambegg?? nah

I do not want to yuck anyone's yum, but if someone I trust serves me sweetened scrambled eggs, I would have to rethink my relationship with them.

Edit: I was reminded that sweet variations of tamagoyaki exist. My thoughts have not changed. Only serve me savory tamagoyaki.

I mean same. There's plenty of Japanese style eggs that I see as a little sweet. I never think "oh that needed to be sweeter."

So reeling it back to scrambled is like "Hm. Much to think about. "
