A Boeing 737 in the livery of Southwest Airlines. Note the exposed main gear wheels near the center of the plane. In order to better serve smaller airports, Boeing chose to design the 737 to sit as low to the ground as possible, leaving no room for doors to extend out to allow the gear to deploy.
