Donbas is a name for the region containing the Donetsk and Luhansk that contains both large coal deposits and heavy industrial production areas. After the Revolution of Dignity in 2014, in which the Ukrainian people expelled a Russian puppet ruler, Russia intervened in Donbas, supporting the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, and even invaded and annexed Crimea, where Russia's Black Sea Fleet is based on leased Ukrainian land.
The Black Sea Fleet now regularly bombards Ukrainian cities with ballistic missiles in a terrorist campaign.
